I was not supposed to take these pictures , but took just a couple of snaps without flash to give a sense of the Balinese dance performance at the San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival Saturday evening, ...the san francisco ethnic dance festival was founded to present the diverse ethnic dance companies in the bay area. 37 companies representing dance traditions from more than 20 cultures take to the stage over 4 weekends in june.

its more like, the hub of all ethnic dance! its amazing - all the different styles of dance there are here in our area and we get to see the best of the best every year at these auditions and again at the ethnic dance festival in june. ...over four weekends in june san francisco has an ethnic dance festival. 2008 is the 30th annual festival. i'm embarrassed to admit that until recently i was totally unaware that this event existed. fortunately, this year i paid attention ...I thought I would share some of what I have been able to find out about the performance by Gadung Kasturi on June 28-29 at the San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival. The group will perform Tari Topeng Telek. Topeng means "to press against ...i'll be watching the ethnic dance festival with the parents on sunday at 2pm. it is being held at the palace of fine arts. are there any interesting restaurants in that area? we're open to all cuisines and most any price range. thanks!
